Nerve pain in Chin - 8 days post-op

Hello all,

I just had upper and lower jaw surgery, as well as a chin

advancement on july 23rd. Things are getting better. The first 3

days were hell but after that everything was pudding. The only

concern I have is that I have this aching pain in the numb area of

my chin. Pain medicine really doesnt help it, so I am guessing that

it is nerve pain.

I was just wondering if anybody has experienced similar pain? When

does it go away? IS there any medicine that can help this sort of

pain?
