, the way I understand it , and I could be wrong, but this is what my

rheumy told me.... It takes a good 3 months for the metho to get into your

system.... and they if you increase the dose, it kind of has to readjust...

this may be a readjusting period. I was up to 25mg a week on metho... Ask

your dr and see what he thinks...

Hope they go away, I know how miserable they are... Keeping you in my thoughts

, I'm confused. i've been on MTX for about

9 wks now (?), started at 7.5mg and then upped it

to 10mg about 2 wks ago. I just started to have

the saturday headaches last week. How can my body

be reacting because it's getting used to it when

I've been on it for awhile? The headaches are

nasty.

BTW, I stopped taking Vioxx this morning. I was

too nervous about taking it with the MTX. I

thought I'd start to feel the shooting pains in

my ears and chest wall, but so far it's okay. I

even made it to the gym today. While on Vioxx, I

was told to stay away from aspirin, which, for me

is great with getting rid of my headaches. The

next time I get the stinking headaches

(saturday?), I'll be running for that aspirin

bottle, since Tylenol never helped!

I always like the one I haven't tried.
