Just wanted to let all the newbies know a little about the Rp Foundation...

We just got our tax exempt status from the IRS, so everything is starting to

roll.

We have been working hard on the Foundation for over a year.... and it is

finally a dream come true...

Our main goal it to make the public and medical professions aware of RP....

we will be having brochures made, fund raisers, and hopefully helping with

research....

This is a wonderful cause... as you all know we need all the research and

awareness OUT THERE!!!! Dr. Jane Buckner has agreed to work with us.... She

is the dr. in Seattle who is doing research on RP....

There are alot of costs, postage.... printing... phone calls,.. etc... We

have a newsletter too that Elaine does a wonderful job on... Very

informative... No one gets paid for anything that is done.. It is all

volunteer.. Barbara A. is in charge of the volunteers... If you would like

to help with the foundation in any way, please post and let her know... tell

her what your interests are and your many talents....

We have a site for Foundation members too. Right now we are taking

nominations and voting on board member. Please get involved in this

wonderful Foundation... It will be your foundation...

We ask that you donate $15 a year.. of cours more is always accepted. LOL

We are working for ALL of us..... (and you get a tax write off besides) LOL

What better charity to give to than your own... We also take contributions

from anyone who wishes to..... They don't have to be a memeber...
