Guest guest
" Please tell me the brand of granola cereal you found. As a diabetic, I'm always interested in anything with less sugar. " , Sorry i can't give you the name of the cereal because it's a bulk food item and I just scoop however much I need. It tastes less sugary than some of the boxed granola cereals from the store, but I don't know for sure it it HAS less sugar. It doesn't say that it's good for diabetics. I think it's sweetened with fruit juice and that can be just as bad as plain sugar...Do you live near a health food/bulk food store? I would suggest you visit and do some taste-testing yourself. I'm on a wheat-free, gluten-free diet (I cheat too) and this granola product doesn't have any wheat. My blood sugars aren't consistently normal when I eat this cereal, and I eat a small bowl. " Do you always grind the seeds before consuming? Is it okay to use the seeds " as is " are are they more beneficial if ground? " , I read somewhere (and I think Mercola says this too) that ground, rather than whole, flaxseeds are better. I've found that ground is better, but for practical reasons other than health. :-) When I couldn't find my coffee grinder (I tried my mini-food processor and it doesn't work, neither does a mortar and pestle!), I ate the seeds whole along with my cereal. They're the same size as sesame seeds, so later, after I was done eating, I found whole seeds stuck between my teeth and it was difficult to get out because it got fuzzy and slippery (because it got wet?). If you have dentures or other challenging dental work, you'll want to ground the seeds up :-) --- Rpolychondritis wrote: >
Guest guest
I take the liquid flaxseed oil. Read where it is best of all. Gets into your system faster. Don't know if true or false. It seems to help me with heart problem. Jo Re: Digest Number 1948 > " Please tell me the brand of granola cereal you >found. As a diabetic, I'm always interested in >anything with less sugar. Guest guest
Now, now you can do it. It really doesn't taste bad. The main taste is the cranberry juice. I put squirt (lol) if garlic, a tablespoon of oil and about 1/4 glass of juice, stir it up and down it. Don't you dare call a daughter of mine lazy. Love you. Gonna miss you while you're gone. Do you know if it will be on Nat'l TV? I haven't rec'd a message from Heidi since before she left for FL. I was gone but I miss hearing from her, too. What a wonderful one she is. Gotta go.
