Guest guest
HI, went shopping yesterday.....so expensive!! each 6 pack of ensure is 9-10$ per! holy cow...but what can you do... here's the shake challenge---Boost or Ensure? taste wise, not $. I bought ensure bec they were familiar (to me), but wondered, since I don't like them to begin with...which was less special shake and which was more a tasty snack? Also ensure comes in berry, strawberry, v/c, and butter pecan-the others are just V/C. Oh and have any of you tried Snapple-a-day? Tasty treat indeed. High cal, meal in a drink with protiens and all that-fiber too, but found a PEACH one, is wasn't TOO thick-shake-like and had a flair of pear and mango too, TASTY! and filling...and NOT v,c, or stwby! ...........now if I can only recall where I bought it, it was a single in a cooler...hmmmm. THANKS! JO Oh and as to carnation i b...haven't been able to find it yet. so pricey it stays!
Guest guest
In grocery stores around me the carnation instant breakfast is found with the chocolate milk mix (like hershey's). Try there next time you're at the store! Guest guest
Look at Target stores for the Ensure - you may find a better price there. $9-$10 is a bit high. I'm sure the instant breakfast stuff is great if you can tolerate all the milk. The good thing about Ensure is that it's lactose free, so you don't have to drink a half-gallon of milk per day. Guest guest
I have found both boost and ensure in my local supermarket for $7.99. I'm not sure what you have in your area, but Wal-MArt is also a good option.
