Guest guest
Hi ya'll, Nine weeks post op today and all is well. I went to the OD today and she is very happy with the way my bite is coming together and told me to keep wearing the rubber bands 24-7 and to see her in a month. She also told me that I should be in braces for about another 6 months. I still have some residual numbness, but each week is better than the one before. Nothing I can't deal with. So, now that the critical part of recovery is over, I figured it was time for an unveiling of sorts. I haven't been out partying since May 15th, so I have emailed my group of friends and we are heading out to the French Quarter on Sunday about 5:30pm for " Trash Disco " . It's a tradition for us and I am looking forward to seeing everyone. However futile, we are going to try and put that genie back in the bottle one more time. With all that said, I want to add that I will be withdrawing to the sidelines to once again become an observer and an even rarer contributor. I want to thank you all once again for all the support and info. It made the whole experience so much easier for me. I wish you all the very best and God's blessings on you always! Guest guest
Dale, thanks for having kept us in the loop on your progress, being 2 weeks behind you (june 16) for my SARPE/lower/genio, I was really soaking up all of the posts of buddies that went ahead of me. Good luck! Nathalie > Hi ya'll, > > Nine weeks post op today and all is well.
