Congratulations Ron!! If you keep up what you're doing now and add more

exercise that weight will drop in no time.

For me, once I went to orientation and found I had lost some weight without

even trying, I went home and focused on the 1200 calorie diet. The weight

dropped so quick that when I had my appt to see how much I needed to lose, I

had already lost it and I was given a date for surgery before leaving the

office!!

Stay focused Ron, you're doing a great job, it must be so exciting for you!

Yes all, I'm still here reading along. You have no idea how comforting it

is that you are all here, lending your stories, support, and love. I have

read each and every post daily, and I just love being here. So, all that

mushy stuff having been said, I went to Richmond today with my sister who

had an appt with Dr. Fischer. (She lost her 10%+ and now has a surgery date

of August 31.) I'm very happy for her, but now it's MY turn. :) Of

course, I still have a lot weight to lose. On July 15, I weighed in at

529... today I weighed in at 508.2! So if any of you were at Kaiser

Richmond today and saw a huge guy walking around with a grin just as huge,

it was probably me. :) Now admittedly, I still have to lose 3.2 pounds to

be at my original orientation weight (505), I am very happy I've been able

to drop what I have. I also have things in place to be sure I continue to

lose. I have to attend a Bariatric Group Up-Date meeting (since I was a bad

boy and didn't check in for a whole year) on the 22nd. By then, I'll

definately be below my orientation weight and on the way to my surgical goal

weight (Dr. Baggs had originally told me to lose 100 pounds).

We'll see what happens.... I am committed to whatever needs to be done.

Ron
