This is one of my biggest fears. I think I am a great mom but when it comes to

food I feel like I am not a good role model. My daughter is 13, 5'4 " and weighs

about 118 she is in a juniors 9 last year she was a juniors 5. She is very fit,

active and what not but she has a poochy tummy. I don't care about the outer

appearance as much but I know it is an issue with the kids and the way they are.

My son is 9 and is 5'0 and weighs about 96 lbs. He is solid as a rock. He came

to me and said he wanted to start a diet because he doesnt like his gooey

stomach (his body is changing) The kids at football practice told him to put his

shirt back on after practice they didnt want to see his pudgy tummy. He cried

uncontrollably. I have never said I was going on a diet in front of my kids only

choosing to eat better. My husband is very supportive of my size and never talks

down to me or the kids about their weight. It is so sad. I worry about my kids

all the time.

, I think the things you are doing are cool but

what happens when they go out of the house? Who will

control their food intake?

Also, along with the exercise that you all have added,

what are you doing about changing how you prepare

their food? Just some questions to throw out here to

you. Boy, I really wish you luck with this. I know

how frustrating it can be.
