Splenda

If it's the article I'm thinking of, it was pure unadulterated crap.

There are people who decide that X is the cause of all evils in the

universe, and with the internet, they can put their beliefs out there

without challenge. Then come a slow news day, some TV news idiot finds

this site, and runs it as a story. The " study " mentioned had NO concrete

details (dosages, control group, etc.).

Look, I'm not gonna try to claim there aren't people who are sensitive

to whatever artificial sweetener there is out there. There are also

people who are allergic to strawberries. Doesn't prove anything.

I guess what I'm saying is that we have to find out what works for us.

If you like Splenda, and it doesn't trigger a binge or cause problems,

go for it. If it makes you start feeling an urge to hit Krispy Kreme,

don't use it! Part of the challenge of this journey is figuring out what

works FOR YOU. That will probably be different from what works for me,

or anyone else. If the binder says to add chicken, and chicken makes you

hurl, don't eat the chicken.

Hope that made sense. If not, just dismiss it as Eleanor whose brain is

currently less than functional, because of a bad cold. Waah!
