Guest guest
I have read the article and would like to highlight the benefits of turmeric. I am from Asian origin, where turnmeric is introduced to our food from the early childhood, it is applied even to skin with wounds , it is an antiseptic and antiimffl agent, that's true. Not only that, we boil water with turmeric powder and drink as tea when we have cold and flu, it is home remedy and it works. People who take turmeric do not get Alzeimer disease in old age, and the cancer related thing is also not false !! but I guess we need to take in abundance, turmeric are hevenly blessing, they undoubtedly protect us from many diseases, so I suggest dear friends , 1) When you prepare the SCD food , pls use turmerid daily, 1 table spoon will do for one cooking, put the turmeris after you have pan fried the veg or not-veg , and keep cooking until the whole food turns yellow. 2) When you prepare SCD chicken broth, you can use 2 table spoon of turmeric, be careful that you put the turmeric while you are panfrying the chicken , I mean before you pour water to prepare the broth, this is for good taste. 3) Be careful where you buy turmeric from , that is does not comtain mixtures, try your best to get pure turmeric 4) you can identify the pure turmeric from the strong smell and dark yellow color (and not light yellow). ALWAYS SAY YES TO TURMERIC, My palms and tongue are painted with turmeric everyday, as my best color is yellow , I love turmeric Subject: Article/Turmeric/CancerTo: BTVC-SCD Date: Wednesday, October 28, 2009, 8:00 AM Here is another reason to incorporate the spice turmeric (tumeric) into your diet – assuming your body tolerates it. http://www.newsdail y.com/stories/ tre59r1e0- us-cancer- curry/ Turmeric also has anti-inflammatory properties. Reminder - it is fat soluble (needs some fat- oil, butter, etc. to be absorbed). Carol CD 21 yrs SCD 5 yrs
