Guest guest
Hi, ,You heat the butter in a pan, and gently saute minced-or thinly sliced garlic garlic in the butter. Yes, that's it, and quite delicious. Can garnish with parsley. Or not. Just do it gently, don't burn the garlic. Used to have it w past, eons ago, with my vegetarian cousin. Made a similar dish w spaghetti squash: cooked the spaghetti squash, pulled the strings loose, then added the butter and garlic sauce. Yum. RE: Fage yogurt: this is what I use for starter too. About 2T per quart of milk. Mix it with a small amount of milk first, to thin it, then a little more milk, then just mix the liquid yogurt solution into the milk. Very fine yogurt, creamy. You just cooked butter and garlic together? To: BTVC-SCD From: partner-in-healing (AT) earthlink (DOT) netDate: Fri, 30 Oct 2009 22:00:44 -0400Subject: Re: Fage yogurt?, Depends, does spaghetti sauce mean red sauce for you? If not, can you do butter-- or ghee? Then one of the yummiest sauces is browned butter with minced garlic. I did a sauce along these lines w spaghetti squash, yum.By now, you've probably made something yum. Or, how bout pesto? Tomatoes are not so great right now, thinking of alternatives.Re: Fage yogurt?Posted by: " Gramenz" gramenz0919 (AT) hotmail (DOT) com sjgramenzFri Oct 30, 2009 1:46 pm (PDT)Anyone have any good and quick spaghetti sauce recipes?
