Guest guest Posted November 1, 2009 Report Share Posted November 1, 2009 Honey is a monosaccharide, so it's allowed. Also, honey is absorbed rather quickly. Someone will have to verify this, but I think it's absorbed right after leaving the stomach. As a result, it wouldn't be around long enough for too many bacteria to munch on. All carbs, not just honey, can feed yeast.
