Guest guest
Anne, I am so sorry that Sam has had such a tough time lately. I was told that expansion is from the marrow trying to produce red cells. So this would explain the frontal bossing without the red cell production increase. I was told this by the radiologist and the neuro. I hope the MRI goes well today and Sam gets some relief soon from he countless transfusions. I cannot believe his ferritan is that high. I freaked out when 's hit 2600! She is on chelation five days/week and we have decided not to even check ferritan's but every few months. Her liver has improved since last yr so we are assuming the chelation is working! is recieving transfusion every three weeks scheduled and IVIG the same day. So far so good! Please let meknow about the MRI results when you get a chance! Dawn
