Guest guest
Hi Friends! We are back, they told us to call if we had not heard from them by 1:30, I called at 1:31 and let them know. Ever so sorry they said. Go to urgent care! WRONG! We saw a dermatologist in Panorama City we waited an hour in the waiting room, and the drive each way was an hour, BUT... he has Attarax and a steroid lotion. The derm doc says it could last up to 6 weeks, but the itching and redness should subside! The big event was this evening!!!! We went to the diner, and he had his first food!!!! they made him mashed potatoes! He nibbled and enjoyed....funny they were so happy to see him have food they brought him a giant bowl and a huge spoon!!!! he had to ask for a small spoon, and after about 1/2 hour he had eaten his fill....about an ounce or maybe less....he was full.... fun day!!!!! UCLA says 100 grams of protein and 1000 calories . So it's shake shake and shake... ISOPURE in the bottle...and now we re-adjust because food is introduced. Randy felt a little guilty, ISOPURE is about $3.00 a bottle, but I reminded him that in the old days a soda and chips, or a coffee at starbucks were the same cost..... Also by the case it's a little less. Thanks for all your caring! And BTW I have the direct cell # for our patient rep, too many freaky things happen to Randy not to have her in the cell phone on speed dial.... wouldn't you know it....her mom was having a serious surgery and she was in the hospital waiting room and not at work! We wished her well and hoped all went well and had to fly solo on this mess! The derm doc was a "new fish", great guy, very smart, very concerned, very nice....and so young! I have houseplants older than him! We liked him a lot...that's a good thing! Now we have two resources in a time of need. I so wish I was closer to all of you! Take care!
