I found the calorie/protein recommendations for

Fremont post ops. In our binder, it says 700-900 cal,

85g protein. It also had carb and fat

recommendations, I believe, but I don't remember what

they were.

Would you mind typing that up and posting it for us non-Fremont

patients?

Ok, straight from my binder (I was wrong on the

protein grams, this is the correct info):

Nutrition Components After Surgery

Calories: 700-900 per day

Protein: 75-80 grams per day: from low fat animal

sources

Carbohydrates: 100 grams per day: from fruits and

vegetables

Fat: Limit to 30 grams per day. choose more mono-

and polyunsaturated fats

Then it lists fluids and supplements, which I figure

everyone is already pretty up on.
