white blood cells when elevated are indicated of infection. So with a high count in the urine that means she prob. has a UTI. Has she been exhbiting any symptoms?

I can only assume that this was what they call a " clean catch "

or " midstream " speciman and not a cath, right? It is probably not

much to worry about. It is not considered a sterile speciman and +3

is not toooo high. It could just be from contamination. It is good

that they are rechecking. I know when has them done there is

always a few 2-3 white blood cells present. Let us know!
