Guest guest
I just came from GNC, I asked them for a protein supplement that does not have any soy, lactose, sugar, etc. They suggested this Hemp protein powder, it's organic and vegas. Is this a legal food supplement??

With all the protein we can eat on SCD, why would you want one? — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
Guest guest
I am sorry.. No it is not legal. As a general direction, it is best to try and be supplement free, in those begining stages of the SCD... Supplements although good can sometimes impede our healing.. You can make delicious smoothies either sweet or savory and you can add like a hard boiled egg yolk or chicken. Full of protein, satiating and all legal at the same time!
