Guest guest
I tried the snapple popsicles in the variety package, too, Colleen, and I also thought they tasted a little off. Not really something I can describe, but just a little off. If I have to have a popsicle, now I just have a frozen juice bar from Dole ( not sugar free, so I don't have one of those very often) or more often, I just pop a few frozen grapes--they are really good! I also like to just crush some ice in my Magic Bullit and eat it plain! Or, I will add a scoop of unflavored Unjury, 8 ozs of bottled water and 1 tbls of Smucker's sugar free hot fudge topping to make a watered-down tasting chocolate- milk flavored protein shake. I am also having problems with all the protein shakes! It's not the tastes or the textures that bother me-- it's the fact that I am getting the dumping after I drink them! It's really hard to force myself to drink my shake when I know I am going to be extremely ill for an hour afterward! I'm not that strong- willed! Oh, and on the watermelon--I can eat seemingly unlimited amounts of it, but as for cantaloupe--it makes me dump! Go figure, huh! P. S. For everyone besides Colleen, I am six months post-op and I had surgery the same day as Colleen! I started out about 20 lbs heavier than Colleen and I am at 199 right now, down from 268 on the day of surgery. I have been very dehydrated--had to go to the ER for IV's twice. Drinking water is painful for me, so it is a constant struggle.

It's about 60 bucks, but I really like mine a lot. It's also easier to clean! The best feature for me, though, is the ice crushing ability!--Shonda :-)
