Guest guest
Hi Kimber, I have had those headaches and the best thing for me is laying down in a dark quiet room and breathing deep and slowly and trying to meditate . Do you take any medication for them? Not to push meds, but I take topomax and it helped a lot. It was prescribed by my neuro. . The laying down should may help your ankle too. Believe me, I understand the crying jags completely. I have MANY, many myself. Don't worry it leaves off tension. I have to officially thank Tracie, the head moderator of the group for these methods, she recommended all of this the first year I started the group and I was in a frightful stage myself. I thanked her so much.I hope it makes you feel better.DebbieCo-Moderatorkimber31_1963 wrote: I just read all the suggestions...its the 3rd time I've sat down at the computer tonight to try and read through the messages. I'm having a bad night. With my headaches my head feels like its burning from the inside out. My ankle has decided to "lock up" so walking is difficult. I hate crying and thats just what I'm doing.....Thank you all so much for the help, I'll probably have to read it a couple dozen more times for it to make sense. And thank you for letting me cry.~~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~~The Neurosarcoidosis CommunityNS CHAT:- FAITH CHATS: WEDNESDAY 9PM EST. 8PM CENTRAL. 6PM PST SUNDAY 12 MIDNIGHT EST. 11PM CENTRAL. 9PM PST OPEN CHATS: THURSDAY 9PM EST. 8PM CENTRAL. 6PM PST SUNDAY 4PM EST. 3PM CENTRAL. 1PM PSTCHATROOM LINK: http://www.emxpc.net/chat/index.php Message Archives:-http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Neurosarcoidosis/messagesMembers Database:-Listings of locations, phone numbers, and instant messengers.http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Neurosarcoidosis/database

Guest guest
I was happy to see that you do the dark room and meditation too. It does help and helps even more if we put our faith into believing in our bodies abilities to heal it's self. If I can't find a dark room I find a quiet corner, take my glasses off, cup my hands over my eyes tightly,(no light peeking in) leaving my eyes open in the dark, and sit relaxing for as long as I can. Five minutes is great but only a couple truly does wonders for the eyes and lessens headaches, etc. Sincerely, Clare tiodaat@... wrote: In a message dated 2/2/07 5:14:16 AM Pacific Standard Time, rozebudz36 (AT) yahoo (DOT) com writes: the best thing for me is laying down in a dark quiet room and breathing deep and slowly and trying to meditate Namaste my dear friend, I'm so glad these techniques help!
