Yes a blender will work just as well, but I found that I was less

willing to USE it, because it was such a pain to clean! I think that is

where the MB really shines.

Some other cool things about the magic bullet..... They usually come with a "bonus" pack of four mugs, you blend right in them and snap a ring over the threads and enjoy right from the glass you blended in.

It's very, very fast!!!!

Clean up is dishwasher safe or rinse and airdry....very easy.

it also has lids that can be used if you want to store something....fruit or such right in the cup.

For $60.00 it sure gets my vote!!!!

I have personally seen it at Gottschalks at Christmas time last year but look

around it was $100 then.

GOD BLESS THE MAGIC BULLET!! It's so easy...I'm surprised you are

having a hard time cleaning it. I got one this weekend from Target-

the express bullet and it's super easy to clean. I love it and now

I'm actually enjoying my shakes.
