,

Does your daughter ever get only hot from her waist up and cool from her waist down? That's what was so weird about my son. Also, we were outside yesterday and I thought he felt a little warm, but he didn't look red and I kept him in the shade the whole time.... maybe he's just got a bug? I don't know.

I do not think I have ever checked her lower trunk. But, we always keep her in the shade because of her heat problems and she still gets sick. It has even happened once indoors, it was in the 70's outside and she was inside in a warm room playing. Sure enough she was getting sick from that. He may even have a bug, like you mentioned. How is he today? I am always able to tell if she is sick or not by either putting her in A/C for awhile or the next cool day. The fever goes down in a few hours of cool, and she is running around and no fever if the next day is cooler. I would watch him and see how he does today, if he is not outside in the warm. If he is fine, I would ask your mito doc about it. If he is still sick, it is probally a bug. Best wishes, hope he is better soon.
