(my synapses aren't firing very well!) How is she doing? Boy, I'll bet having the incredibly shrinking woman under your roof will really help you to stay motivated in your journey. I can't wait to hear the report back for the next time you weigh in. Take it a step at a time, and you'll get there! How much more do you need to lose? Break it down into 5 lbs. increments, and just remember "I only have to do this X number of more times and I'll be there!" So in your corner, Ron. You can do this. You really can!!! Guest guest Posted August 19, 2005 Report Share Posted August 19, 2005 Yeah, my sister (a, we call her "Bert" for short) is scheduled for her surgery on August 31. She just keeps losing and losing and losing... She has Dr. Fischer. We just attended her pre-op teach on Wednesday, and she has something else going on on Monday. Also on Monday, I have to attend an Update Class from 10-12. So, we'll see how my weigh-in goes. Maybe I'll be down to 490. Wouldn't that be sweet! As far as how much more I have to lose... Dr. Baggs told me a year ago when I weighed 505 that he wanted me to lose 100 pounds. So, if that's still true (and I'd really like to talk to him about this), I have 90 pounds yet to lose. You are right Robynn about the 5 lb. increments. Although my next goal to meet is 475. Between my commitment to this and the wonderful support I got from all of you here, I cannot fail. Ron PS, and yes, my sister is a great source of motivation Today is the day!! Today is my two year re-birthday!!!
