Probably because you aren't getting as much water. Don't forget, we get alot of water in food...and, depending upon your stage, you probably aren't eating many fruits and veggies...

Probably fats. At this point you aren't eating any where near as much as

you did, so there's less fat being ingested. In addition, we now

malabsorb most of it. The closest estimate I've read is that proximals

(if Kaiser did your surgery, you're a proxie) only absorb 30% of the fat

we ingest. So, 30% of a whole lot less, and your skin and hair just

aren't getting as much oil/fat as they used to.

Lotions etc. help.
