I assume that our tummies are still swollen (the tissue) inside, and it may block it between the esophagus and the tummy...because goodness knows it comes up fast, as if it's right at the back of our throats. So, I assume that the tummy lining is a bit inflamed because of the surgery and all of the hooplah...it probably takes a while to calm down....
