Guest guest
Hello Every One: We finally will be able to take Felipe to the States to see Dr. Shoffner in Atlanta next 18th of May. We will be travelling from Bogota, Colombia to Atlanta, Georgia. It is a 5 hours International Fly. I am totally scare because it is the first time we take Felipe into an airplain and for that long. When he was born he methabolically discompensated and dehydrated. His blood saturation labels are also not stable. He had oxygen during his first two months of life. And his CO2 levels are commonly low. I just want to get some pointers regarding the baby´trip. I want to know what I should do and what should´nt. For instance what kind of food or liquids should I provide him on the flight, should I give him something to make him sleep during the flight? What do I do if he cries for too long? etc... I know it is difficult for you to give some general advice but you are all I have to ask this questions and I will appreciate any input you can give me from you personal experience. Thank you very much, Vicky Castro, Felipe´s mother.
