Twin City Mito Families...UMDF Fund raising event...

Hope a few of you read this. A wonderful woman named Robin who works

for Walsh? Realty organizes a charity event--motorcycle ride with a

barbecue/band/raffles probably to be held in Anoka. Last year the

event raised $50,000 for funeral costs and trust fund for the

children of a man killed in an accident. She knows my boys and I

referred her to UMDF's website--she contacted the corporate sponsers

and other organizers of last year's event and they want this year's

funds to go to UMDF!!!!! She has been in contact with UMDF. She is

really excited (and I am moved to tears). The event will most likely

be early August. She needs mito kids/families to be at the event--

she has got my two, but obviously wants more. She is also wondering

if anyone in the area is available to speak about mito to sponsers or

at the event--any leads would be welcome. If anyone is interested e-

mail me at pnkntwins@... and I will forward you Robin's phone

number.

I think she said it was a sports center or something like that in

Anoka. She will be here tomorrow so I will ask her and let you

know.
