Guest guest
Today was my birthday, and I wanted to share what I had for the celebration! Hubby made me a sugar free pound cake. It was made with Splenda...he found the recipe online. I ate about 1 cubic inch. And we had no sugar added vanilla ice cream with it. 4 grams of sugar per serving. I'm sure I had way less than a serving. Anyway, it was good! I don't feel deprived. Yay! Laurie

Guest guest
Sorry about that Colleen. I was there and left when I got no response from Laurie after a while. Is there a way to exit the chat besides just signing off Yahoo? I couldn't find a way... Guest guest
Ron As it happened i got booted off, I think to exit you just close the box out where the red x is, but it should still keep you in the interenet, i think that is the first time i ever used that chat room when there were actually people there, what i want to know is, how stupid can people really be ? i never got to see your explanation ? Guest guest
Ha ha... yeah, people can be really stupid.... especially when drunk. Most people ask how long it will be for a cab, and I TRY to be as honest as I can be for that given moment, but things can change with each phone call, and how long passengers tie up a cab. So what spawned my statement last night was, this guy called for a cab and I told him it would be just a few minutes and he kept asking how long even after I said "a few minutes" several times. I just love drunks... NOT. Of course, that's just one example. I have tons. For those of you who have no clue as to what I'm rambling about, I dispatch for one of the cab companies here in Napa, and mentioned in chat last night how stupid the general public can be... just as poor Colleen got the boot from chat by the almighty Yahoo. Guest guest
Here is the recipe. Please note: Hubby substituted regular Splenda for the called for Splenda for Baking. The baking one is the one that is half sugar, and half Splenda. I told him it was more sugar than I could have that way. So that's what he did! http://www.splenda.com/recipe_detail.jhtml?id=splenda/recipes/de_scpndcke.inc ____________________________________________________ Start your day with Yahoo! - make it your home page http://www.yahoo.com/r/hs
