Guest guest
Hi , From what my doctor told me just a few months ago (May) they have 3 weeks to accept or deny you. That doesnt mean you will have any appointment dates within 3 weeks - its just means you should know one way or another. My doctor called me when she submitted all of the paperwork and within a week she called me back to let me know I was accepted. My actual acceptance letter came about a week or two after that. Best of luck to you on this glorious journey, Barbara -----Original Message-----From: Colleen Garner Sent: Saturday, August 20, 2005 9:49 PMTo: gastric-bypass-support-kaiser-patients Subject: Re: Re: to laurie hey laurie that is so funny yes i meant the onederfuls, silly me, colleenLaurie wrote: Uh, Colleen, don't ya mean you weigh 183 to 181?? Guest guest
Colleen...here I am a few lbs. away from you, and it didn't register that you wrote 281-283 either. Do you find that it is really hard to keep track of your weight...or to conceptualize it? Sometimes I am in this total fuzz about < "Now...WHAT do I weigh again???!?" Also, have you ever gained any weight in this process? Once or twice I went up a half a lb. for no particular reason, only to have it go down right away, sometimes the same day. But, I actually went from 189 to 191.5 today...and it seemed to stay that way all day. In fact, as they day progressed, I went up to 192 or 193. The day progression didn't bother me so much...I always gain weight during the day. But, I sure hope it goes down tomorrow. This is the first time this has happened (in my old life, my weight constantly fluctuated up and down), so it kinda freaked me out. Have you experienced that?
