Guest guest
Slo Margie, We are neighbors, Lol Well States anyway. I would love to be a contact for you, just e-mail me privately. Good luck on your journey. The mourning food does not exactly happen as you think After a week, I really didn't stop at the kitchen like I used to, but that is when I started getting sad. Now I am aware of the loss, like when I make a really yummy meal and can only eat a bite of everything. I am satisfied physically, but mentally I want to more, I want that comfort that food used to give me. So now I eat realllly slow and savor every bite and it helps. Oh I miss bread, in the winter I make homemade bread everyday, and I clarify butter. This winter I know I will look at it and think pain, pain, pain. Bread just stops right between my breast. Unfortunately toast does not. So I can have a half of tuna sandwich on toast and I am a happy full camper. Just my 2 cents Trisha Lanman

Guest guest
Margie, I am also 53 years old and 5'2 " . I will grieve for my food also, but I'm ready for that adjustment. There are so many other things in my life that I want to focus on now rather than the center of my world being food. I feel time is slipping by and I have to do this now before it is too late. I have a date for August 2. I hope you have one soon and good luck. If I can help in anyway, I'll be glad to. Kay Re > Hi this is Margie from San Obispo Ca.
