Guest guest Posted November 12, 2009 Report Share Posted November 12, 2009 Although I wasn't obese before I started SCD, but a little overweight, I had for years omitted the more caloric fruits. Since beginning SCD, I am eating lots more calories, having added in those fruits that I missed, to compensate for giving up grain. And I'm eating lots more aged cheese and oily salad dressings. I have not only not gained weight, I have lost a few pounds. So on the basis of my experience, I'd have to say there is definitely some validity to that theory.
