Did the nurse say how long the diarrhea lasts usually? Is it a permanent problem or just until adjusted on it? I can't afford for her to have constant diarrhea as this will easily dehydrate her and cause problems metablolically and also cause SLE's in Zipporrah. Do you know if Neocate does this also? When Colby was younger he was on Alimentum. He had rotovirus, and was in the hospital, and he would not stop having diarrhea, I can't quite remember the wording, but he needed protein back into his colon, and Alimentum is what they used. He was on it for years and was more constipated if anything. I do remember after he had his g-tube in he had diarrhea for over a year. The doctor was right on lol, he said, in some kids it's normal to have diarrhea for a year from a virus. Right Dr. I think if he had the same problem something would be done. He didn't get sick from it, but it was a pain in the ? I heard someone had a birthday. All these spring kiddos! What are SLE's. I have never heard or seen it until this site a couple of weeke ago

I don't know about Neocate at all or how long the diarhea lasts. I'm sorry - I wish I could help.
