Guest guest
I do not know about alimentum, but Neocate is used alot to stop diarrheah. Grace was having 10-12 wattery, sometimes pussy, diarrheas before Neocate. Within a few days of starting it she starting having somewhat normal BM's. She did still have some problems but they were managable after the Neocate. I know the price is scary, but it really helped out Grace alot. If you do decide to go that route, check out the crippled childrens waiver or even WIC. I did not qualify financially for WIC but was still able to get it, due to medical necessity. (They even gave me the milk, juice and cereal for the rest of my family.) You will need a letter from your doctor to get the Neocate from WIC, but I am sure you will have no problems on that due to her issues. They were really helpfull in a time of need, and even was able to find a place to get her the formula that day. Best wishes.
