Guest guest
Hi Vicky, I don't have any good ideas related to kids with mito, but I know from experience flying with a baby that it helps to have them suck on a bottle during take-off and landing (makes the ears better). If you can give him a pain reliever, that would be a good idea too b/c it takes the ear pain away. Anything warm against the ears is also helpful if it hurts. In terms of dehydrating or decompensating, I'm not much help - I can only think of the obvious which is keep on feeding him (easier said than done). Can you call your pediatrician and ask him about this? Also, please don't be worried about other people being upset about his crying. That is their problem and they can deal with it! Guest guest
Please, I need more flight tips, I am totally scared of the baby descompensating, dehydrating or crying and crying while on the airplain. From the mothers who have been to Atlanta (Dr. Shoffner) do you have any advice? Best regards, Vicky CastroFelipe´s mom
