Someone in our small town is trying to ban the Boot Drive for MD!!!!

Hi I am Tamara, Joey's Mommy. I have posted several times here and I

love everyone of you. My husband is on the Volenteer Fire Department

in our small town of Missouri and found out tonight at his fire

meeting some crazy news. There will be a guy at the City Council

meeting tomarrow night trying to ban the Boot Drive. He says it is a

big hassle and only blocks the intersection. The people just stand

in the road and beg for money. He says it's just a waste. It makes

the fire department very mad, it makes them want to say. " If your

house catches on fire, we can not help you and put it out, because it

will block the road " . Of course they would really not say that, yet

that is what we feel. You better believe we will be at that

meeting. This makes me soooooo mad. Who would complain about

something like this. The Fire Department has already called a news

station to be there. I hate it to get out of hand, but this is

crazy. MDA help is the only help we get with Joey and I do not know

what we would do without them. Sorry, I just had to vent. I just

hate the thought that there is someone out there against us trying to

find a cure for this terrible monster that is trying to take our

babies. Sorry to bore you, I had to let off some steam.

Theres always someone who needs to spoil the party! What a jerk.

Some people don't understand if they don't know someone who is

affected by this horrible disorder. I know this has made me a much

more understanding person. People don't like to think about things

like this. Ignorance is the only way some people can survive.You go

girl!!!!
