anyone interested in forming a L.I.N.Y. support group?

Hi there...I am a preop who plans to have surgery with Dr. Gagner (soon, I

Hope)...I attended a Mt. Sinai post op support group, and heard that no one

showed up to lead the preop support group(I was supposed to go but my back

was out, boy would I have been mad if I schleped all the way into the city

in pain for nothing.) I was wondering if there is anyone out there who

would be interested in forming a Long Island based support group...I live in

Patchogue, and it takes me quite a while to get into the city, especially in

rush hour. I also work evenings so it's hard to get time off (although I

would do it if I thought it would be worth while. I was thinking about a

location some where Mid-island, amybe on a sat or sunday. Is there anyone

else out there interested? even just to get together and talk about issues?
