The issue occured when she posted a new e-group called 'drrenisabutcher'. THAT was considered possibly slanderous. Since Deb is in a legal process with Dr. Ren I am not sure what kind of reprecussions this may have for the group, the list or for her but advertising about her group titled 'drrenisabutcher' was the issue, NOT whether she could post about her surgery or her thoughts/feelings about what happened to her. Since I am not the one who was involved in any of this and I do believe all correspondence was private e-mail, I really cannot comment further. However, I certainly do NOT think that any moderator or list owner has the purpose of putting Deb down or setting up some kind of conspiracy of sorts to not educate people about the possible complications or mistakes, etc. that can occur with this surgery. If you look in the archives, you will see that Deb has posted on many occasion. She has met with opposition as well as admiration for her posts. I do not think any of these were reprimanded or 'removed' from the archives. There have been some pretty hot and heated discussions/arguements that definately took place and were not 'monitored'/'censored' in any way, shape or form. There have also been long periods when she hasn't posted in the past. She has reacted to some of the dissent presented to her posts by saying she would 'leave the group' before and this was NOT caused by any higher board power dictating that she leave or anything like that. I don't know why Deb hasn't been posting recently but I'm just stating that there have been times in the past when she hasn't posted for long periods of time so I wouldn't be so quick to jump to the conclusion that her recent inactivity is due to unfairness from the owners/moderators of this board.
