Just starting on the journey

Hello all. I have been reading all of your postings which I find very

interesting and informative. I received my approval letter and was

assigned to Kaiser, Fremont on 7/15, had my psych eval appt. on 8/8, my

2 hr. group orientation (by/Dr. Dennen)was 8/20 and now I am working on

loosing the 10% and understanding about the whole process. I am 5' 7 " ,

269 lbs (I had gall bladder surgery on 8/11). My original weight was

275 so I have lost 6 lbs. I am now looking for a support group in my

area. I live in Los Banos and although I commute to SJ to work, I

would rather have a group in the area where I live. Any referrals are

appreciated. Thanks and looking forward to more chatting w/all of you

in the future.
