Guest guest
, I looked over the list of foods you're currently eating and the one thing that stuck out as a potential cause of D is the eggs you're consuming. My son, who had all the symptoms of crohn's -could not touch them at the start. When he began the intro diet 18 months ago he stayed on it for 6 weeks (at the time he was under the incorrect impression that he could not move forward with adding new foods until all his symptoms had disappeared) and was at the point where he felt SCD was not going to work for him. As a last resort, he removed eggs from his diet and within a week he was having formed BM's for the first time in 6 years. At 18 months into SCD he can tolerate small amounts of eggs and cheese but cannot overdo either without the D returning. It always seems to take approximately a week to clear, as well, if he does over-consume either. Everyone is different but after seeing the dramatic turn around here, removing eggs from your diet is certainly worth a try.
