Jen, I am not completely filled in -- you might want to search the threads for Ciar's posts and her angel's posts. My understanding is that there was insufficient blood supply to the pyloric valve after the gastroplasty and it had to be removed. Why is up for debate, Deb says the doc did a bad job and made a mistake, but this is a known complication, and there is a terrific amount of anatomical variation amongst us humans. There may be other issues, too, but that is all I know for certain.
