HI Robyn,

It is more than likely water retention because you are close to you period. Since you say you have not been overindulging and you are drinking enough water. You might want to take it easy on the sodium. Have you been eating enough so that your body hasn't gone into starvation mode? To really gain a pound you need to eat 3400 calories so more than likely it is just water.

My bet is you aren't eating enough, especially considering the

workouts you do every week. Did you try logging your calories into

fitday.com to get an idea? Just a thought...

I'll try fitday. I think I'm eating about 400 to 600 calories a day.

You need more dear! I'm at like 700-900, with my protein drinks.

Robynn my dear, you are not disgusting or ugly or

anything remotely close to it. I will let you get

away from it this time because I know that you are

PMSing.

I am sure we all have days when we don't find

ourselves pretty, sexy, attractive and beautiful but

you know that you are beautiful Robynn and you will

get there. You just have to keep working at it. Big

hug to you and I hope to see you today.

Oh, I think part of it is my period...part of it is that Olivier is coming in a week and a half, and I had been hoping to be in the 170s (here I am at 190.)...I'm starting to be a little messed up about him, he's been a poison apple for me...and I just feel vulnerable, you know?

And then, you know...my skin isn't as firm as it once was...on a relative scale I'm not too bad, but it's bumming me out...and I don't know how much will restore once the muscle tone is back...

ANd I'm going to be naked in front of pretty soon...and he's still attentive and lovely, but for the last couple of days he is a bit less attentive, and so now I'm worried. And again, I must repeat I AM ON MY PERIOD so every little nuance is a huge bloody deal.

And I'm pale...I'm never pale and I'm really freakin' pale...and I'm probably anemic at the moment...and I just don't feel very appealing. That's all.

I'll get over it (I hope!)

Thanks, Robynn Diane Duenas wrote:

The men will see you for who you are: a beautiful,

compassionate and thoughtful woman!! And as for

perhaps being a little less attentive, (and you can't

trust your instincts right now as you are PMSing), but

if he is, could it be possibly that he may be a little

nervous about seeing you in a few weeks? Just

wondering...
