Guest guest
Eileen, could you mention the exact name of the pro-biotics product? I say this because I think Klaire labs is one of the best, and before SCD I was taking one by them (forget the name at the moment), and it had about a dozen strains of pro-biotics, of course mostly illegals for us. But I like the company and would like to check out an SCD compliant one and see if it really is. my local comp pharmacy carries this now - never heard of this brand - actually says scd compliant on it - anyone like/dislike it?? thanks eileen
Guest guest
If you click into this discussion, Dr McCandless does mention the Klaire products. She mentions two, of which the TherBiotic Complete is the one I used to take. It has 3 bifidas, which is why I quit using it. plus I'm not sure any beyond L. acidophilus, but I think maybe we can use the l. thermopolis? That leaves a lot of strains I'm not sure about plus the 3 bifidas and they state there's a polysaccharid complex in the base. I know Dr McCandless has a slightly different slant on these things. Guest guest
Hey .. Klaire has an SCD approved one. I used to take it but realized probiotic rich foods are where it is at. http://www.klaire.com/probiotics_cat.htm Jodi
Guest guest
Should of read the whole thread.. sorry. Eileen, I thought it was a bit pricey. Over at the Hoffman Center (Where Kroner used to work) they use this one a lot with SCD. Jodi

Guest guest
LOL.. I guess like everything the mark up at Hoffman's when I was there was insane. BTW- it's the one on the link that says SCD compliant which contains L. Acid.
