Guest guest
Isn't your daughter on a waiver program? Usually the waiver includes Medicaid. that is hwy we have it for Asenath. I don't know how we could pay for all her meds without our insurance and Medicaid. If she isn't on one yet, apply as soon as possible. It is a lot of paperwork, but well worth it. Guest guest
We are on the Beckett program here in Wisconsin. They didn't look at my husbands salary. At least what I took it they looked at what Leah could and not could not do. And because we were on the program for at least 5 years, this past year we got to fill out the short forms. They listed the same but if nothing changed you checked a box that stated that. Talk about so much quicker. The only requirement being is that Leah doesn't have $2000 in assets. So we usually spend all the money she gets as presents and only have a savings account of about $220. Right now it is a Godsend for us as my husband is still looking for fulltime work and that is all of Leah's insurance coverage. And the neatest thing is I don't need to get preapproval for doctor visits like other HMO's. You may want to check with some one in a family support system to see what is out there for you.
