Guest guest
A little confused on the apple juice vs apple cider: Today I bought Organic apple juice which is unflitered and pastuerized. Nothing in it but organice juice from fresh pressed organic apples. Is this legal? It is pretty cloudy looking - don't know if that's good or bad
Guest guest
Marla.. Learning about the difference between unfiltered apple juice and apple cider can be tricky. Unfiltered apple juice looks cloudy, yes but it is not cider. This is where it gets confusing. Cider is in the fridge section of the supermarket and is local. Unfiltered apple juice does not need to be refridged in the supermarket only after opening. Cider also goes bad quickly. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_cider Cider usually looks like this in this packaging; http://tinyurl.com/y8u4gxh http://www.mynewsletterbuilder.com/ex/template_content_corner/ex20/images/cider.\ jpg Unfiltered apple juice; http://tinyurl.com/ygsq7ff Looks similar so it is confusing. Do you have a local farmer's market? They usually sell it there. I live in the North East so there is plenty around. If you cannot find it you can always make your own fresh pressed apple juice. Remember to significantly dilute all juice! HTH, Jodi > > A little confused on the apple juice vs apple cider: Today I bought Organic apple juice which is unflitered and pastuerized.
