The organization I plan to donate to requires a minimum of 12

inches. I've been growing my hair for years for just this purpose.

I'm on disability now and cannot afford to donate money to

charities as I did when I worked. I figured this is a way I could

still be 'charitable'.

My hair's about 18 inches. Thanks to the great advice you've all

given, I plan to get a short blunt cut before going in the hospital.

If nothing else, it sure will be easier to take care of!.;-)
