Guest guest
Hello I have read some of the emails on glycoproteins I was wondering what they are used for. I tried researching it on Google and did not see much. Are they used for a specific mito disease? Does it help mito? I know it is a sugar but that is about all. THANK YOU ANgel mom to a boy with mito complex I (partial defect)

Guest guest
Dear Angel, Glycoproteins are supposed to help the body heal itself and are supposedly helpful in all genetic disorders, cancers etc. They claim to help everyone’s immune system, sick or not. They have a website on www.healthsugars.com and the company is called mannatech. Suhad Haddad -- Mom to Samya (Died 12-10-02 of Leigh's Synd.) & Leanna with same disease. Guest guest
Hi OK now I am really confused on the glycoproteins. I was on the site and was trying to see what the supplement is called and how much it is. Did anyone try them. They sound promising. My son is 4 1/2 years old and has been diagnosed with a Mitochondrial disorder complex I. My son has low muscle tone. Low energy to his muscles. He walks with a walker but not by himself yet. I started him on ProEfa which are essential fatty acids and they were supposed to help his speech and they did! Of course the Dr.s think it is with more therapy but my son did not talk and after starting them he started to say words. So I know supplements DO work not for all but some. If anyone has info I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you Millman RE: glycoproteins Dear Angel, Glycoproteins are supposed to help the body heal itself and are supposedly helpful in all genetic disorders, cancers etc. They claim to help everyone’s immune system, sick or not.
