I also have an 8 year old daighter with PDG.

She is not thiamine reponsive, but has responded very well to the ketogenic

diet.

I am always keen to correspond with other parents of children with this

disorder

ne, mum to Gaby aged 8 years, PDH

I've read that some kids get episodic bouts of ataxia and lethargy

wtih PDG.

Does anyone know if it's possible to have the ataxia strike only part

of the body? Or does the whole body always get affected, with each

episode?

Oops - I guess I wasn't paying close enough attention. I've read

that about pyruvate carboxylase deficiency, not PDG.
