I felt so good I had to be reminded that I had just had surgery! I got my staples out last week and the OK to do what ever I want. I'm gradually adding different foods and have had virtually no problems at all. Sorry I haven't written--the computer at home has been on the fritz. I finally made it to the library this evening and wanted to let you all know that I'm doing very well. I have to keep being reminded that I've just had major surgery! I'm really enjoying my time off--just being able to take it easy, take my daughter to school every day and pick her up has been wonderful. I'm not looking forward to returning to work (LOL!) We're working on getting the computer fixed but in the meantime I'm going to try to make regular library visits. Thank you all for you prayers, cards and messages. They have meant a lot. Guest guest
Hey girl, I'm so glad I could be of some help in this journey. I so wish I had met you this past Saturday. I saw your name when they passed out the Angel list and immediately started looking around. There was one lady who kept looking over and smiling at me so after the meeting I went up and asked if she was you and she said no, it was Bonnie. Anyway, I'm the redhead who had the questions about the Mega-Multis, the one with the teenager who couldn't stop hiccuping. Please do introduce yourself next month. Do you go to the Thursday night support group? Guest guest
Hi Chris- Things since surgery have gone very well for me. I started at 283, the day of surgery i was 251 and currently at almost 11 months ( Jan 10th) I am at 255, my goal is 145, so that is only ten pounds away, the closer you get though the harder it is to get there! but I have no complaints and if i stay where i am I am ok with that as well. I no longer have diabetes or high choesterol and I do still have high blood pressure but i was told by one of my doctors in my case it is hereditary and not weight incurred. I feel better, lighter , happier and so happy I did the surgery ! any other questions just ask. Anyways about my self, I am 40 yrs old and started this program sometime last year, my highest weight was approx 400 lbs, and I am currently at 372 lbs, and I am only about 2 more lbs from being able to schedule my psychiatric evaluation and about 12 lbs from scheduling for my surgery. I am ready to get my life back, and hopefully be able to be around for my two girls, as the grow older. They mean the world to me. I know this journey wont be easy, but I think being a part of this group will go a long way towards getting my life back. ThanksChris.
