(to those of you who wanted to sign prior to >>posting, sorry if i left you off! One of the Moderators wrote a nice long post explaining that Deb has not been censored or banned. She further went on to say that in the past, Deb has taken time-out's from posting for awhile and likely, she is doing that again. Just because someone chooses to stay silent for awhile does not mean they've been vanquished. However, I'm curious why those signing the petition believe that to be the case? Did our co-moderator make a mistake or something? hugs to each & every one! gobo

When ones posts need to be approved by the moderator that is being censored, plain and simple. > However, I'm curious why > those signing the petition believe that to be the case? Guest guest
gobo, the moderator who said that was wrong. deb has been put on censored status and can no longer post freely to the group. all of her posts have to be approved, unlike the rest of us. so yes, the moderator who said that did make a mistake. thanks for asking! erika duodenalswitch wrote: > One of the Moderators wrote a nice long post explaining that Deb > has not been censored or banned. Guest guest
Ok, I have kept relatively quiet about this situation and as I still don't have the whole story would only like to say this now. I feel that Deb should have the right to post. From what I understand she does. When there is a list with this many people on it (and I do understand the signifigance of that being a list owner myself) you have to do things to please the many. If there was blatant disregard to attempts made to keep things calm, (insults thrown wont do anyone any good) the only thing the list moderators CAN do is moderate her. If she does not post " scandelous " material, she wont get moderated. If she does, I personally don't want to hear it. Maybe some of you are right and this isnt the list for us. Maybe we can start another one, but the constant petty fighting that I have seen over someone taking a comment by another too seriously is out of control on this list. I don't even know the names of those that are guilty of doing this so I am not attacking anyone. I just think that if she was causing trouble, moderation is the only way. If she wants to post insults and such, this is not the forum to do so. Do I think that things were handled properly? I don't know, I wasnt here, but it seems to me that if she is simply posting her updates, etc, she wouldnt be moderated. But I may just write to her personally and find out. Could I please get: Debs personal email addy? I will also write to the owners and find out whats going on. --- QUAA rcom714@...> wrote: > gobo wrote: > > > > >for anyone wishing to add their name below > simply copy and > > >>paste this content into a new message and add > your name at > > >>the bottom of the list. then repost it to the > list for others to > > add > > >>their names.
