Guest guest
Dawna, Talk to your doctor and ask him if it would be a good idea to have him refer you to an enterostomal therapist. This is a person who specializes in wounds and healing them with specific dressings. She/He might know the best way to cover the wound to keep it from hurting and getting worse. If he doesn't want to do that go to the drug store and ask the pharmacist for Duoderm dressings. These are dressings that are also a protective barrier. They are usually beige, and are sticky. They stick over the wound and you can keep them on for about 4-6 days until they come off. Any questions you may email me privately if you want. Good luck in healing, preop Retained Walter to fight ins co Body to be designed by Hess/Oakley Remember it all started with a mouse. -Walt Disney- vvanb@...
