Guest guest
Tamara, When we had a c-pap/bi-pap for Billy there was an in line water heater which added moisture and raised the temp. of the air. Do you have one? Billy could not deal with the bi-pap or c-pap and does have a trach now. He is on a vent at night with nightly readings of 99-100%. His day time readings are 90-94% all on room air (in Denver, so that's about our normal). Twana He hates the C-Pap and everything about it, mainly the fit and the cold air. Guest guest
Hi Laurie, Sorry to hear that you have to increase the pressure on your CPAP. That is a really BIG increase at one time. I hope you are able to tolerate it. Too bad you can't use the same mask as before. If I remember correctly you had a really comfortable one. I hope this mask is comfortable for you and that everything goes well. Thinking of you.... Guest guest
Ann-Marie Thanks for the " thinking of you " . They set my CPAP (actually a C-flex) so the pressure goes down for exhaling. I was able to wear it all night by starting out with the ramping. My new mask is defective, so I had to use the old one which doesn't maintain a good seal, but only woke up once due to the CPAP last night and that was when I turned one too many times and pulled the hosing from the CPAP. laurie > > Hi Laurie, > > Sorry to hear that you have to increase the pressure on your CPAP. > That is a really BIG increase at one time. Guest guest
Barbara I'm not sure, but it sounds like something Kristie would say. I don't know how people do it with several tubes for different things. Yikes!!! laurie > Uh oh, spaghetti syndrome.
